The role:
Be part of Waterworks’ expansion into new products and new markets. We are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to lead our new “Last Mile” distribution center in Portugal.
This person will be the foundational member of our EU logistics team, responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of inventory, from receiving bulk shipments from global factories to ensuring white-glove delivery to EU and UK clients.
This role requires a blend of physical warehouse management and high-level ERP data integrity.
Eligible applicants must reside in Portugal;
Waterworks will not provide relocation or sponsorship for this role;
This is an onsite role, 5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the receipt of all incoming goods, verifying physical counts against packing slips and Infor M3 distribution and purchase orders;
Develop and maintain an organized bin/location system to optimize picking speed;
Ensure all stock is put away and received in the system within 24 hours of arrival, maintaining global inventory visibility;
Manage the daily pick-and-pack process, ensuring high standards of protective packaging for premium goods;
Generate shipping labels and documentation required for EU and UK transit, including customs documentation where applicable;
Coordinate directly with local Portuguese and international carriers to ensure timely departures and resolve last-mile delivery exceptions;
Execute a rigorous cycle counting program to ensure 99%+ inventory accuracy;
Process client returns, RMAs, and perform quality inspections to determine whether items are restockable, repairable or damaged;
Identify and report production defects or shipping damages to the US procurement team;
Maintain real-time accuracy in Infor M3, ensuring all stock movements, receipts, transfers and adjustments are recorded;
Monitor warehouse performance metrics, including order cycle time and shipping accuracy;
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, ideally within a distribution center for consumer goods;
Experience with Infor M3 or a similar ERP, such as SAP or Oracle, preferred;
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
Familiarity with EU shipping regulations, customs and carrier networks, such as DHL, DPD and CTT;
Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks;
Ability to lift up to 25 kg;
Fluency in Portuguese and professional proficiency in English, required for communication with the US headquarters;
Availability to travel up to 10% of the time, to the US and/or other EU locations;
Residence in Portugal.
Salary:
Annual gross salary between €25,000 and €30,000;
Equivalent salary range paid over 14 months.
