Our client is a prestigious industrial group, a leader in its sector, and is currently seeking to recruit an Logistics Auditor Associate to join their team in Cascais but with frequent travel across Europe and the Americas.


This role is ideal for a early-career professional with a strong interest in industrial environments, supply chain operations, and data analysis, looking for a dynamic position combining on-site audits, analytical work, and cross-functional collaboration.


The Logistics Auditor Associate plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of logistics processes and master data across our global operations. This is a hybrid role, combining: field audits in manufacturing plants (shopfloor exposure); data analysis and system validation (SAP, reporting) and master data management and process governance.



Key tasks & Activities


Execution of Field Audits
  • Participate in on-site audits across international plants;
  • Assess warehouse operations, inventory flows, and shopfloor practices;
  • Conduct interviews and validate processes with plant teams;
  • Verify alignment between physical operations and system data (SAP);
  • Identify operational risks, inefficiencies, and deviations from standards;
  • Identify best practices and improvement opportunities across sites;
  • Support the definition and follow-up of corrective actions (CAPAs);
  • Audit Preparation & Analytical Work.

Analyze plant data (inventory, purchasing, stock movements, adjustments)
  • Identify outliers, trends, and areas of concern based on historical data;
  • Prepare audit samples, reports, and analysis (e.g., stock ageing, rotation);
  • Support audit reporting with data-driven insights and recommendations;
  • Master Data Management & Governance.

Validate Master Data requests (e.g., SKUs, BOMs, routings)
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment in data workflows;
  • Support data accuracy and completeness in SAP systems;
  • Monitor workflows and follow up to reduce delays and improve data quality.

Process Improvement & Corporate Standards
  • Contribute to updating logistics corporate processes and best practices;
  • Support the development of training materials and tools;
  • Act as a bridge between plants, central teams, and systems (SAP/GMS).

Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or similar) or Business with operational focus;
  • Exposure to manufacturing environments, supply chain operations and data analysis;
  • Motivation to combine hands-on plant exposure with analytical work;
  • Availability for frequent international travel (Europe & Americas);
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Advanced Excel, SAP / Power BI is a plus;
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese (mandatory);
  • Microsoft Office;
  • Curious, proactive, and detail-oriented;
  • Strong communication skills across different environments (shopfloor to management);
  • Comfortable in dynamic, international, and operational contexts.
