What You'll Do

You’ll work on a team that provides a wide range of services to our Managing Directors & Partners (MDPs), manages our MDP compensation and equity programs, including overseeing the annual MDP evaluation process and reporting cycle. In addition, the group supports MDP ‘life cycle’ events (e.g., lateral hiring, promotions, departures, and transfers).


As a Compensation Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering and evolving global compensation programs for MDPs. You will combine technical expertise, sound judgment, and collaborative problem solving to drive accurate, controlled, and high-quality outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead key components of MDP compensation cycles including salary, bonus, and deferred compensation, ensuring accuracy, strong controls, and timely execution

  • Oversee end to end compensation processes, guiding analysts and continuously improving workflows, controls, and scalability

  • Validate compensation payments, loans, and PSRF (Profit sharing retirement plan) calculations by applying policy expertise and sound judgment across geographies

  • Analyze compensation data to support reporting, identify trends, and improve operational and business outcomes

  • Apply AI-enabled and automated solutions to streamline analysis, automate routine activities, strengthen data validation, and accelerate insight generation

  • Produce structured compensation outputs and partner across finance, HR, and operations to solve complex problems and manage expectations

  • Document and refine processes to enhance transparency, consistency, and risk management while enabling flexibility for evolving business needs


What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

  • 6-8+ years of relevant experience in areas such as compensation, accounting, audit, or financial operations—ideally within a global organization

  • Strong analytical skills with a natural curiosity and problem-solving mindset

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly and professionally present information to stakeholders at multiple levels

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Experience with digital and automation tools (e.g., Claude, Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, etc); familiarity with AI use cases in operations preferred

  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work independently with minimal supervision

  • Proven track record of handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, recommend improvements, and contribute to overall team success


Who You'll Work With

You will be part of the Executive Compensation function, which brings together finance and HR capabilities to support BCG’s Managing Directors and Partners globally. PSG operates within the Global Services organization, alongside teams including Finance, Legal, HR, IT, and Risk.

You will work closely with the Compensation Operations team, as well as Equity Operations and other sub-functions. The team spans multiple regions and collaborates across functions to deliver consistent, high-quality support to BCG’s global partnership.
