We help large enterprises reduce customer service cost, improve operational efficiency, and deliver better customer experiences through AI Agents that integrate with existing CRM, CCaaS, and ERP systems.
Our clients include Via Verde, EDP, Generali, Altice, and Continente. With a Net Revenue Retention of 116%, customers who deploy Automaise consistently expand. Under new CEO leadership and full Board commitment, we are rebuilding our go-to-market across Portugal, Spain, and the UK.
We compete at the enterprise level, where global players like Cognigy (NICE) and PolyAI start at $150K-$300K per year. Our segment remains largely open in PT, ES, and the UK - the timing is right, the product works, and we are now building the commercial engine to match.
The Role
This is the first VP of Marketing in Automaise's history, a defining leadership role at a pivotal moment. Marketing is transitioning from an execution function to a strategic growth engine with clear ownership of positioning, pipeline contribution, and market credibility.
You will report directly to the CEO, lead a team of four, and build the marketing function end-to-end: narrative, demand generation, sales enablement, and brand presence across PT, ES, and the UK.

Positioning and Narrative
- Define Automaise's ICP-aligned positioning and message.
- Ensure consistency across website, sales materials, events, and PR.
- Partner with the CEO and VP of Sales to maintain a unified commercial narrative focused on business outcomes.
- Build an account-based demand generation strategy tailored to enterprise buyers.
- Own marketing's contribution to pipeline across PT, ES, and UK.
- Lead a central Demand Generation function serving all markets.
- Establish the measurement and reporting cadence in HubSpot.
- Maintain a library of sector-specific proof points (e.g., Via Verde, EDP, Generali).
- Ensure the delivery of high-impact assets: case studies, ROI tools, competitive battle cards.
- Review and update all marketing materials with the enterprise positioning.
- Lead PR and media strategy in partnership with our PR agency.
- Prioritise and manage sector events based on qualified conversations, not attendance.
- Support CEO and Regional Sales Managers in building credible LinkedIn presence
- Initiate the path towards Gartner and Forrester recognition - a 12-18 month play that starts now.
- Lead and develop a team of four across digital marketing, demand generation and events.
- Set priorities, define success metrics, and drive accountability.
- Align marketing planning with sales priorities per market and per quarter.
What we’re looking for
Automaise is moving into scale-up mode. This role requires a leader who can set strategy and own outcomes, while also stepping into hands-on execution where needed. You will build the foundations of a scalable marketing engine and shape how the role evolves as the team and processes mature.
You will define Automaise’s narrative, build a high-performing marketing engine, and make marketing a measurable contributor to enterprise pipeline and revenue.
Experience
- 7–12 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, including leadership of a marketing function at an enterprise company.
- Proven track record of marketing-sourced pipeline contribution in enterprise contexts.
- Experience defining positioning and narrative for complex technical products.
- Experience managing account based demand generation.
- Multi-market experience (PT/ES/UK or similar European markets).
- Experience managing and coaching small, high-performing teams. CX, AI, or contact centre sector experience is a plus! Ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes for enterprise buyers.
- Confortable operating in a scale-up environment where strategy and executions coexist.
- 30 days — ICP Positioning and narrative defined. Website and sales deck aligned.
- 60 days — Pipeline measurement live. Marketing calendar aligned with Sales.
- 90 days — First strategic assets delivered (case studies, ROI tolls, battle cards).
- First VP of Marketing in Automaise’shistory — you build the function andown the strategy.
- Direct report to the CEO with full authority over marketing.
