What you'll be doing:

Portugal Tax and Accounting Lead, leading Finance team (3 person), support tax and statutory requirement on the market

Key responsibilities:

Lead Local accounting team to be able to support daily operations with primary focus on statutory and local tax accounting requirements.

Leading from Finance side implementation of business initiatives and procedures related to financial management, accounting, and/or payroll.

Lead monthly and annual closing (financial statements preparation, CIT, VAT, tax calculation etc.).

Responsible for timely and accurate tax, statistics, and national bank reporting

Preparation of annual financial statements according to local statutory requirements.

Coordination and support of the audits, internal SOX Controls.

Preparation of transfer pricing documentation with a support of external tax advisor.

Monitoring and interpretation of legislative and regulatory requirements where necessary and ensuring any resulting amendments to processes or procedures are implemented.

Experience from 3+ year in the Supervisor, Manager role;

Knowledge of IFSR and GAAP standard will be plus;

Upper intermediate knowledge of English;

Preferable experience in FMCG sector.
