Demand Planner (Maternity Leave) - Porto Salvo - #241483

Are you looking for a new challenge as Demand Planner?

We are currently recruiting a Demand Planner (m/f) to cover a Maternity Leave for our client, a multinational company that manufactures mobile phones, as well as other devices such as televisions and home appliances, located in Porto Salvo.

Responsibilities

Ensure that company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. Will assist in all demand planning duties including estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models.

• Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
• Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
• Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
• Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
• Order allocation request on daily basis.
• Gathering channel stock data and sell out calculation to upload in GDMI on weekly basis.
• Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
• Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
• Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Long Term Inventory Management.
• Daily communication with HQ office and factories.
• Preparation and leading the weekly S&OP meeting and IT business reporting.
  
  

Ideal Profile

• Degree in management, SCM, Administration or any other relevant field (mandatory);
• Fluent/Native English Speaker (mandatory);
• Previous experience in a demand planning/forecasting role;
• Advanced level in Excel;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job;
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization;
