Job Description and Requirements

Synopsys is seeking a talented engineer for the SG Digital IP Methodology group in Portugal. Stimulating, challenging and rewarding work. Excellent work environment and career development opportunities.
The successful candidate will work to help defining and keep up to date SG Digital IP Methodology flows and processes for Digital IP (controllers) development.
Digital IP tools implements the flows but it is the Methodology team that defines requirements, and guarantees, that they are up to date and follow industry best practices. This role scope includes testing the flows/processes in a real IP, document the steps and their reasoning and preparing training material for teams adoption.
As a worldwide organization short term travel may be required.

Key qualifications:

• Degree in electronic engineering or computer science
• Problem solving skills
• Good communication skills in English
• Willingness to learn
• Team player
• Organized and methodical
• Understanding of IC design flows
• Relevant work in IC development
• Exposure to Unix, Python and Tcl scripting
• Exposure to Synopsys EDA tools (TMAX, DC, cT)
