Business Analyst/Functional Analyst - #238967

Location: Hybrid Lisbon - Twice a week at our office in Saldanha!

Our team is currently seeking an Agile Functional Analyst who is passionate about agile methodologies and has a deep understanding of business processes. Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in an agile software development team, developing working software incrementally in sprints, utilizing scrum methodologies.
• Understand and analyze business processes and requirements with a focus on gas flow management.
• Collaborate with team members to break down business requirements into user stories, refine them into tasks, and deliver within a sprint.
• Translate user stories into conceptual models that align with existing architectures and systems.
• Develop business process and functional system documentation using UML artifacts such as use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and information models.

Tech Skills:

• Proficient analytical and synthesizing abilities to define problems, requirements, and design solutions impacting mission-critical applications.
• Familiarity with relational databases and the ability to write simple SQL queries.
• Strong knowledge of UML and UML modeling tools, such as Sparx Enterprise Architect.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a functional analyst.
• Proven experience working in agile software development teams and using related tools (e.g., MS DevOps).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to actively listen to user needs, ask pertinent questions, and effectively communicate sprint results.
• Strong collaborative skills, working closely with developers to explain analyses or to review code.
• Passionate, enthusiastic, and pragmatic team player with flexibility to help the team achieve its objectives.
