As a key member of our central and dynamic Pricing Intelligence team, you'll be responsible for enabling optimized pricing decisions that maximize revenue and profitability based on data-driven insights. Working alongside talented professionals, you'll have the opportunity to apply your analytical skills to support various pricing initiatives, develop data-driven pricing models, and identify trends and insights to improve our pricing strategies. • Support the development and implementation of data-driven pricing models enhancing Infineon’s pricing capabilities to foster value-orientation as well as reaction to market trends based on empirical and statistical methods
• Be responsible for the systematic preparation and processing of data within the pricing environment across product areas, sales channels and business types to enable informed pricing decisions
• Create standardized reporting, simulations and analytic solutions to provide meaningful pricing insights
• Derive data-based recommendations of actionable measures with the target to optimize pricing under specific market conditions as well as to increase efficiency within the pricing community and across corporate functions
• Support pricing project initiatives including contributing to the preparation and facilitation of workshops, the alignment of different stakeholder requirements and the creation of buy-in
• Analyze pricing-related processes and identify optimization potentials by applying “process mining” methods and tools in close collaboration with IT
• Prepare communication material and support training facilitation to ensure that relevant stakeholders are well-informed and equipped to make pricing-related decisions that align with Infineon’s pricing framework

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A relevant completed study e.g., economics, industrial/ electrical engineering, computer engineering/ science, mathematics/ statistics/ data analytics
• At least 1 to 3 years relevant working experience in an international environment corporate or consulting, preferably in a role related to pricing, data analytics/ science or sales/ marketing strategy
• Understanding of pricing concepts, methodologies and processes
• Advanced Excel skills, practical experience in data analysis and simulation, programming (e.g., SQL, R, Phyton, VBA) as well as data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience in empirical analytics, advanced data processing and programming – machine learning know how is a plus
• Basic project management skills, e.g., support in requirement collection, scoping of projects, project roll-out and implementation
• A sharp, analytical and problem-solving mindset and a structured way of working
• Good communication skills and the capability to align different stakeholder perspectives and requirements
• Excellent proficiency in English spoken and written, ideally also German language skills
