The Devops Engineer will serve as the technical expert in Docker and Container Orchestration technologies, deploying, configuring, and monitoring applications for Kubernetes (IKS) platform.
Responsibilities:
- Kubernetes configuration and creating clusters solutions
- Continually improve DevOps processes, and procedures
- Build, maintain, and scale applications for Production, QA, and Dev environments
- Write and maintain infrastructure documentation
- Own production incidents/issues and provide response to infrastructure incidents and alerts
- Assist with the operation of a Kubernetes cluster
- Identify the root cause (cloud traffic tracing, engage application/external team for troubleshooting
- Monitoring/Performance tuning
Skills required:
- 5 years experience in Kubernetes master node and worker node (K8 Admin, Docker, Networking, Security, ArgoCD)
- Experience in Linux, network and SSH.
- Experience with Prometheus and ElasticSearch
- Relevant Docker, Kubernetes (IKS) certification is desired.
Soft Skills:
- Good Verbal and written communication skills
- Good presentation skills
- Self-starter with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledge
- Good Collaboration, prioritization and team working skills
- Should be a fast learner with good attention to detaiL
