Mercer Portugal is seeking candidates for the following position for its Consulting Team, based in the Porto office:

TALENT STRATEGY CONSULTANT

What can you expect?

  • Mercer consultants work with the 3 lines of business in a wide range of scope and clients. With a transversal role, this consultant will support the team to develop and implement core HR processes and policies for their employees including Performance Management, Assessments & Talent Development, Careers or Compensation, Job Architecture & Evaluation and Organizational Design are also areas of advisory within the scope of this role.

  • For the initial 6 months it's required to work from the office. After that, you can opt for the hybrid working model, which allows you to work from home 2 days per week.

We will count on you to:

  • Collaborate in projects including mainly Organizational Transformation, Job Evaluation and Description, Job Architecture, Performance Management, Career Frameworks, Competencies Models, Compensation Management, etc.;
  • Develop analysis based on client and market data and prepare client presentations/ reports by using excel data and PowerPoint;
  • Prepare and review documents that consolidate information to support definition processes, trends and policies;
  • Interact with clients and contribute to the development of strong business relations;
  • Identify leads and act as a contributor for business development.

What you need to have:

  • Degree in Management, HR, organizational psychology or similar;
  • Experience in relevant related projects;
  • English language proficiency (C1);
  • Analytical thinking;
  • Empathic Communication;
  • Organized, detail-oriented and rigorous;
  • Team player and capable of multi-tasking;
  • Curiosity and learning agility;
  • Availability for client visits and to go to Lisbon office once per month (expenses covered by the company).
