The Consumer Business Analyst is responsible to understand the business processes and, through data insights, being able to develop, recommend and support solutions aligned with the Projects being delivered or any other action within the scope. Success requires a combination of strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills, technical competency, and the ability to lead and influence across regional and functional groups.

  • Analytics & Insights: Proactive use of analytics to identify insights to drive Business Requirements, Project Delivery support as well improvements across the areas within the scope as well technologies being used.
  • Project Delivery: Leads / Support solution design & delivery, following the best practice in Operations area.
  • Driving Best Practice Analysis: Drive best practice with key solutions used (e.g. Nice CX One, CRM, Online Portals, GenAI, etc)

Key Responsibilities:

Analytics & Insights

  • Ability to analyse ongoing performance data to assess trends, compare actuals against targets, and identify issues / areas of opportunity.
  • Ability to design and setup process performance metrics across various Insurance functions, operating models, and distribution platforms.

Project Delivery

  • Leads / participates in solution design with cross-functional teams and implements business process innovation to effect change across the business to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of our operations.
  • Manages and supports program effort in alignment with program scope and escalates issues where applicable.
  • Manages program documentation, including project plans and status reporting.

Drive Best Practice in Consumer Business leveraging core Consumer tools – Project support as well BAU

  • Analyse and understand business / operational situations and make improvement recommendations, such as process improvement, performance metrics, retention, and service improvements.
  • Leads / facilitates sessions independently around operational assessment, process improvement, process analysis and redesign, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Gather business end-user requirements, document identified requirements (e.g., process maps, high level use cases, reporting metrics, etc.)
  • Ability to deep dive and recommend process and operational performance metrics including minimum and expected service level standards.
  • Work with local teams to develop Chubb’s bench strength in the country / TPA through 1:1 training sessions, development of standards and the sharing of best practice.

  • Undertake other business analysis/process improvements as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications

Essential:

  • Experience in analytics and systems implementation / development (Tech research)
  • Sound understanding of general insurance business model
  • Knowledgeable of application of statistical methods including statistical sampling and statistical inference. Ability to work with large samples of unstructured data.
  • Experience with Process Design, Re-Engineering, and Transformation Initiatives. Experience in generating process documentation and reports
  • Experience delivering and/or improving consumer lines processes, performance metrics, operational delivery

A successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

  • Ability with analysing and manipulating large amounts of data
  • Ability to design and model “as-is” and adapted processes leveraging proven process decomposition techniques – (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.)
  • Basic Project Management experience preferred (PMP a plus)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels
  • Collaboration across business and IT disciplines to achieve process performance results.
  • Experience participating in fast pasted, aggressive, and dynamic projects
  • Cross-functional, cross-organizational relationship-building skills. Strong interpersonal skills
  • Creative problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent organizational. Must be able to participate in and support multiple projects with competing priorities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications, including Visio
  • Proven ability to manage projects and user testing
  • Extensive experience with data visualization
  • Lean Six Sigma Green belt or above

Languages

  • Effective verbal and written communications in English. Any other European language is considered a plus.
