How You’ll Make An Impact
- Develop and execute long-term sales strategies to expand Grid Technologies’ market share in Portugal.
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new high-value customers and business opportunities across multiple sectors.
- Lead complex sales projects and tender processes from start to finish, managing technical proposals and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and service teams to deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, serving as the primary contact for strategic accounts and mentoring junior sales professionals.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Extensive experience as a Senior or Specialist Sales Professional in the energy, power generation, or grid technology industry.
- You have a proven track record of managing large, complex B2B sales cycles and consistently achieving ambitious sales targets.
- You are fluent in both Portuguese and English.
- You are skilled in sales strategy, technical presentations, CRM tools (such as Salesforce), and advanced negotiation.
- Availability for business travel within Portugal and to regional meetings is required.
You’ll join a dynamic Iberia sales team dedicated to growing Siemens Energy’s Grid Technologies business in Portugal. The team’s mission is to expand market presence by combining strategic business development, technical sales execution, and advanced customer relationship management. You’ll work closely with engineering, project management, and service experts to deliver innovative solutions for clients in the utility, industrial, and infrastructure sectors. The team values autonomy, expertise, and a shared commitment to building long-term partnerships and achieving ambitious growth objectives.
