Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to make a tangible impact? Join our Home Comfort (HC) organization at Bosch, where you'll play a pivotal role in integrating newly acquired companies into our sustainability framework. As Sustainability Project Manager, you will drive the development and implementation of sustainability strategies aligned with Bosch Group's ambitious goals, ensuring business continuity with a strong focus on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors.
Your work will directly contribute to reducing Bosch's carbon footprint, advancing circular economy initiatives, and upholding human rights commitments. You will lead cross-functional teams, facilitate sustainability councils, and help define ambitious CO2 Scope 3 targets to meet our climate goals.
Your contribution to something big:
- Developing and implementing sustainability strategies that align with HC and Bosch Group's overarching sustainability goals and definitions;
- Establishing and leading Sustainability Councils and Steering Committees within newly integrated organizations, covering all aspects of sustainability, including EHS management, material compliance, and people;
- Serving as a Sustainability Team Lead for new organizations, coordinating across engineering, locations, communication, and internal networks at the HC level;
- Driving organizational integration by defining and expanding sustainability teams and networks;
- Monitoring sustainability trends, including customer requirements, legal conditions, and competitor analysis, to identify opportunities and risks;
- Coordinating the implementation and target achievement of sustainability initiatives, supporting the initiation of measures as needed;
- Defining clear reporting and escalation pathways to ensure transparency and accountability;
- Supporting the handling of sustainability-related customer inquiries and requirements within the organizational entities, ensuring consistent communication;
- Acting as the central point of contact for all sustainability-related topics, ensuring coordinated and interconnected sustainability strategies, concepts, and processes.
What distinguishes you:
Education
- Master's degree in life sciences (environmental science, biology, chemistry, etc.), process engineering with a focus on sustainability, or sustainability/resource management.
Experience
- Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies, ideally within M&A or organizational integration contexts;
- In-depth knowledge of sustainability standards and frameworks (e.g., EU Green Deal, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, Scope 3 acc. SBTi, EU Taxonomy).
Know-how
- Strong understanding of ESG topics, circular economy, carbon accounting (Scope 3), and human rights in supply chains;
- Experience coordinating cross-departmental teams and steering committees;
- Excellent project management skills in multi-national organizations and ability to align stakeholders.
Languages
- Fluent in English. Proficiency in German or other languages is a plus.
