What will you be doing?

As a Digital Transformation Engineer, you will spearhead the design, development, and deployment of intelligent digital solutions that drive measurable impact across the Group. Leveraging your deep expertise in AI, automation, and integration technologies, you'll unlock innovative ways to streamline operations and deliver commercial value. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate strategic ambitions into scalable, AI-powered outcomes that transform the way we work.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Design and implement AI-powered automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI, and CoPilot technologies to streamline business processes and reduce manual effort.
• Build and manage conversational and task-based agents using Microsoft Agent AI and Azure Bot Services to support internal operations and client-facing services.
• Design and implement automation solutions to streamline business processes and reduce manual tasks.
• Design, develop, and implement new technologies and processes to drive digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead the integration of digital solutions into existing infrastructure, business systems and workflows.
• Ensure all solutions comply with relevant data security and privacy regulations
• Monitor the performance of implemented solutions and make necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Recommend digital tools and platforms to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Stay updated with the latest digital trends and technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
• And any other duties as assigned.
  
  

This role is based in Portugal and requires the legal right to live and work in the country of application. You’ll occasionally travel to support regional offices and may need to work flexible hours to collaborate across time zones. Adaptability and cross-regional communication are key to success in this position.

What are we looking for?

Role

To succeed in this role, you bring along a solid background in digital solution design, AI, and automation, with hands-on experience across Microsoft technologies like Azure AI, Power Platform, and Copilots. Experience in process optimisation, system integration, and familiarity with Agile or sector-specific environments will set you apart. In addition, you:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics or equivalent.
• 2+ years digital solution design and implementation, ideally within IT or Digital Transformation environments.
• Proven track record in automation and process optimisation, including designing and deploying RPA or low-code/no-code solutions.
• Proven track record of AI tool development and deployment.
  
  

Competencies And Capabilities

• Strong understanding of digital technologies and their business applications.
• Experience with business process analysis and optimisation.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including:
• Microsoft 365 Co-pilots and Agent AI
• Azure AI services (e.g., Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning)
• Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
• Prompt engineering.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities. Strong project management skills and adaptability to new technologies.

• Microsoft AI900, AI102 or DP-100.
• AWS Certified AI Practitioner or AWS Certified Machine Learning Engineer – Associate.
• Marine or Energy sector exposure.
• Familiarity with Agile or DevOps environments, including CI/CD pipelines and iterative delivery models.
• Experience with system integration, especially connecting new digital tools with legacy systems or enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM).
• Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for identity and access management
• RESTful APIs and webhooks.
