Mission

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team in Lisbon. This role will focus on providing comprehensive HR administrative support, ensuring legal compliance, and managing key processes related to employee records, contracts, and benefits. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of Portuguese labor law, a hands-on approach to HR operations, and a commitment to supporting both the business and its employees effectively.

What Will Be Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with Portuguese labour law.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and legally compliant.
  • Track absences, vacations, and leave, keeping employee data organized and current.
  • Support HR audits and reporting by providing accurate and timely information.
  • Organize and lead local onboarding sessions to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Handle all administrative HR processes, including hires, terminations, vacations, absences, and documentation.
  • Manage employee benefits, including health insurance, accident insurance, and other benefits.
  • Prepare employment contracts and ensure proper handling of contract renewals and terminations.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and administrative procedures.
  • Provide accurate information to managers on contract status, renewals, and exits.
  • Support the HR team with day-to-day administrative tasks and continuous process improvement.

Profile And Requirements

  • +3 years proven experience in HR in a similar role
  • Experience supporting HR initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR processes
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, growing organisation an advantage
  • High Proficiency in Google, Microsoft and HR software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in English, with proven fluency at the C2 level
  • Excellent communication skills
