Join our dynamic team at Hitachi Energy Grid Automation in Europe! We are seeking an experienced HSE & Auditor Compliance (por dejar igual que el job title) professional to enhance our Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) and sustainability performance across the HUB Europe.

In this role, you will Monitor and ensure compliance with our Operating System processes, Support countries in performing self-assessments and Conduct internal HSE audits within the HUB Europe, leveraging your specialist knowledge to drive operational excellence.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Support Audit Programs: Manage HSE and sustainability audit programs and related activities.
  • Analyze Data: Examine data and trends from audits and inspections to standardize processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain Integrity: Uphold high integrity in all activities and interactions with stakeholders.
  • Ensure Compliance: Assist locations in adhering to HSE and sustainability standards, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Drive Behavioral Change: Promote sustainability performance through coordinated improvement programs and initiatives.
  • Share Best Practices: Facilitate the exchange of lessons learned and best practices across the HUB EU.
  • Stay Informed: Maintain external awareness and act as a consulting expert on functional area knowledge and trends.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance the HSE and Sustainability culture.

Your Background

  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Ability and willingness to frequent travels at regional level (around 40%)
  • Pragmatic, action- and result-oriented with state-of-the-art expertise in audit techniques, covering at least the 3 main ISO Standards (9k, 14k, 45k)
  • Organized, proactive and creative able to conduct activities in autonomy and deliver on-time results
  • Expertise in related HSE and Sustainability scope and regional regulatory framework
  • Around 10 years of practical experience in occupational health, safety and environmental management
  • Frontline exposure to both projects/service and manufacturing activities within a global organization and industrial settings
  • Proven experience and certified as a lead auditor with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills in line with ISO19011
  • A good understanding of ISO45001:2018, ISO14001:2014 and ISO 26000:2010 and experience in conducting inspections
  • Fluent in both English and (as a minimum) one other relevant language for Hitachi Energy operations in the region.
