Körber Supply Chain Automation is a leading developer of automated intralogistics systems and dynamic automation solutions. We offer comprehensive services, including consulting, planning, software development, project implementation, maintenance and support services - all from one source. Our projects cover a wide range, from simple to very complex, across a variety of industries.
Your role in our team
- Integrated in the Korber Supply Chain Business Area and based in Porto, your responsibility is to coordinate and ensure the correct implementation of the Export Control process in all Business Area companies.
- Process Development : Develop and implement strategies to optimize export processes, reduce costs, and penetrate new markets.
- Compliance : Ensure we have mechanisms to guarantee compliance with international trade regulations and export laws. Take care of all reporting requirements from Körber AG.
- Coordination : Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and sales teams to streamline operations and ensure timely delivery of goods. In particular, this role must coordinate with the Export Execution Responsible from all the KSC entities.
- Knowledge sharing : provide the organization with the relevant directions regarding training and expertise. Stay up-to-date with export regulations and distribute those with the Export community.
- Problem-Solving & point of contact : Handle any issues or discrepancies that arise during the export process. Define escalation mechanisms.
- GTS process owner : participate in the roll-out of GTS as process owner. Define the right level of controls and reporting mechanisms.
- BA alignment : align on basic export control requirements with the BA Export Control Officer (Markus Fröhlich) and Governance & Risk. In addition, this role will be responsible for the annual Export Control report.
- Degree in a industrial related Engineering course (e.g. Mechanical, Electrotechnical, Materials Engineering)
- Work experience in Logistics processual documentation and regulationsis required and export control experience is a plus
- English fluent, both verbal and written;
- MS Office proficient, especially MS Excel;
- User knowledge of ERPs (SAP is a plus);
- Dynamic team player with proactive and resilient personality.
