The Commercial Finance & DCS COE provides Decision Making and FP&A Support to Global Commercial, Commercial Finance and Digital Commercial Strategy Organizations. Part of the regional support group we are looking for an Associate Director, Commercial Finance, Center Of Excellence

This role provides a unique opportunity to work across multiple geographies closely partnering with key stakeholders at Regional, Global and Corporate level as well as providing financial insight and analytics to support key business decisions.

With an entrepreneurial mindset, he/she will be bringing a financial perspective into the overall strategic and tactical decision making while using smart tools and innovative processes.

Responsibilities

  • FP&A support for Budget, Forecasts and long-range planning.
  • Co-ordinate forecast processes, including preparing global commercial forecast guidance, calendars, aligning expectations from key stakeholders and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Lead or be part of the monthly closing activities, as well as analysis and reporting to senior management
  • Co-ordinate monthly, quarterly estimates, collect / consolidate commentaries, and drive action on related variances
  • Support preparation of regular reporting ad hoc, Monthly, Quarterly, Forecast and Leadership Team presentation decks providing adequate drivers and quality explanations to support decision making.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc financial analyses as support for Operation reviews, forecasts, and other meetings
  • Maintain effective relationships with other stakeholders (within and outside Commercial Finance COE) on multiple topics as required.
  • Closely co-ordinate with the local finance/FP&A teams on the execution of any related tasks
  • Ability and opportunity to work across areas within or outside primary responsibility (eg Global / other regions)
  • Support on various ongoing projects
  • Continuously focus on process optimization and simplification, execute on the implementation of various digital reporting solutions to reduce manual finance reporting work
  • Coaching junior team members where applicable

Required Education, Experience, And Skills

Background Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years of Commercial FP&A experience at regional/global level
  • Strong technical and functional knowledge of Company financial planning and management reporting systems
  • Fluent in English (proficiency level), other local languages is a plus

Primary Technical Skills Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Organon Financial systems and Enterprise processes deep knowledge as well as experienced user of enterprise planning and forecasting applications
  • SAC-P, SAP, EDW experience and strong Excel / PowerPoint skills
