- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Kotlin, particularly in backend development
- Proven experience in the design and implementation of complex software solutions, ideally in an international environment
- Solid experience in developing RESTful APIs and working with event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, SQS, MQTT)
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin backend frameworks, preferably Spring Boot
- Familiarity with Protocol Buffers (Protobuf)
- Proficient in working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
- Experience in integrating and working with cloud services, preferably AWS, including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), PaaS, and monitoring/alerting tools
- Basic knowledge of Python for rapid prototyping and tooling
- Fluency in English (B2)
- Availability for hybrid work (1 time a week) in Lisbon, Portugal
