About The Role

We're looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join our sales team for the French market at Pleo. In this role, you'll help drive revenue growth within our Commercial segment in France and be part of a dynamic sales team as we scale Pleo's innovative spend management solution. If you're excited about generating new business opportunities, managing a pipeline from prospecting to close, and upselling to existing clients and are passionate about transforming how companies manage their finances, then this is the opportunity for you! You can be based in our Paris or Lisbon offices

What you'll be doing

As a Commercial Account Executive, you will:

  • Own the entire sales cycle, from outbound prospecting (collaborating with our SDRs) to qualifying opportunities and converting deals
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting efforts, focusing on building new relationships with buyers
  • Deliver engaging and informative product demonstrations of the Pleo solution
  • Become an expert in expense management
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and maintain excellent pipeline hygiene

What you bring

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Prior experience in a sales role with exposure to outbound prospecting
  • A successful track record in a closing role
  • Experience in a high velocity closing environment, including the ability to prioritise high value deals
  • Experience within a similar SaaS company
  • A strong drive and ability to constantly learn, grow, and adapt to change
  • Confidence in communication via phone and other outreach methods with clients
  • Curiosity and adaptability, making you easy to work with
  • Receptiveness to giving and receiving feedback
  • A strong team player mentality, free from sharp elbows, politics, or egos
  • Fluency in French (required)
  • Complete fluency in English, our company language (interviews and onboarding will be done in English)

Who you'll be working with and reporting to

You'll report to our Sales Manager in France, and work closely with our Commercial Sales team in France, as well as colleagues across our European offices. Our team is highly collaborative and dedicated to achieving ambitious new business targets. You'll also have the chance to partner with teams across Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure success and a seamless customer experience
