Join our Junior IT Talent Initiative in Porto, a project designed to strengthen your core competencies in preparation for a thriving career within Infineon’s IT Department. Over the course of 18 months, you will work closely with our team of international experts who will challenge you to reach your highest potential and become a reference in all our fields of expertise!
Job Description
As a Junior IT Talent, you will embark on a fantastic journey within our IT organization. You will gain and develop technical and functional knowledge in different IT areas in Porto.
You'll be allocated to one of these two paths: a development-focused role, where you'll learn how to be a developer in different technologies, such as SAP ABAP or Web development, or a functional role, where you'll work with our Finance and Procurement IT teams, learn how to customize an SAP system in different areas, and automate processes in various tools.
With hands-on and state-of-the-art digital learning, we'll get you ready for the job.

- Be part of Global project teams with innovative assignments using state-of-the-art methodologies
- Develop innovative solutions for our internal Human Resources, Finance, and Procurement business community on the newest technologies like SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and Cloud Platforms/Solutions
- Work independently and take on responsibilities to advance exciting digitalization projects (e.g, Test Automation and Process Mining)
- Develop an attractive career path according to your functional and personal preferences and competencies

You are best equipped for this task if you:
- Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems and Management, Business Management or similar fields
- Have a good understanding of current technologies and trends, and are familiar with AI tools
- Are creative and enjoy working in an agile and innovative environment
- Are an open-minded team player, with great networking skills and love to work with people from different fields and levels of the organization
- Are highly motivated and dedicated to achieving your goals
- Have a passion for digital solutions
- Are fluent in English
