Job Description 

We are looking for a Legal Counsel to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring legal integrity and compliance across all global operations, providing expert counsel that enables business growth and fosters strong stakeholder relationships. 

This position is based at our HQ office in Maia.

Responsibilities

• Provide contracting, legal and regulatory support to the business teams on all business operations and activities of the company.
• Provide general legal advice and support to other functions e.g. human resources, finance, admin, corporate services, etc.
• Provide effective legal support to the sales and procurement teams in contract structuring, preparation and negotiation.
• Draft contract templates for all lines of business of the organization.
• In coordination with organization's policies and compliance, provide appropriate advice and training to the business/ relevant teams on related contracting matters.
• Ensure complete compliance with statutory & corporate secretarial matters and governance processes across the business globally including all branch and subsidiaries.

Must Have

• Law Bachelor Degree.
• Industry legal knowledge such as: Intellectual property law, Compliance, Finance, Labour Law.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience in hospitality/tech companies.
• Knowledge of other languages will be an advantage.
