Summary: Verisure is seeking a skilled, talented, hands-on and passionate AP Accountant to strengthen our Shared Services Center Team. This position will report hierarchically to the Shared Services Center Manager, based in Lisbon. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and to get exposure to a wide variety of accounting topics as well as team building activities. We see this role as critical for the achievement of Verisure’s growth and organizational transformation goals while Group Accounting aims for centralization and automation. As a result, we are looking for a self-starter and standout contributor/promising talent who will combine Leadership and Accounting knowledge with a proactive business mindset focused on driving value to the business.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities):

  • P2P process: receiving and processing invoices, assure communication to and from all
  • Point of Contact for internal and external stakeholders
  • Review and assure proper classification of cost center and accounts on POs
  • Weekly and Month-end closing procedures including aging reports
  • Process Payments
  • Assist manager and peers on the daily activity
  • Performing ad hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as required
  • Reconcile AP accounts on a monthly basis
  • Collaboration with local finance specialists to accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislation

What You'll Bring (Qualifications & Experience):

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of previous relevant experience within an international, fast-paced company, preferably coaching/mentoring junior team members.
  • Skills: Experience as an ERP user (ORACLE, SAP, SAGE).
  • Education: Relevant degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken). Spanish, Portuguese, or French are a plus.
  • Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, highly motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment, demonstrating successful stakeholder management.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow with the team, flexibility and ability to work autonomously, liaising with stakeholders based abroad.
  • Demonstratable experience aligned with our Company DNA.
