Functional Analyst Trainee (IEFP)

Join us as a Functional Analyst Trainee

As a Functional Analyst Trainee, you will join our dynamic "Transversal" Business Analyst team, supporting critical projects that drive the evolution of Euronext Securities' applications in Porto. You'll be at the heart of analyzing business needs and translating them into clear, actionable functional specifications, collaborating closely with technical and functional experts across the organization.

This position is based in Porto and we practice a hybrid work model.

Key Accountabilities:

• Assist in analyzing requirements from an end-to-end perspective to ensure comprehensive understanding

• Perform impact analysis for new functionalities and adjustments to existing systems

• Create clear and detailed functional and impact analysis specification documents

• Organize and prioritize incoming requests to ensure timely and effective responses

• Facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops with cross-functional teams

• Collect and consolidate effort estimations from impacted teams

• Produce high-level functional specifications aligned with business needs

• Provide ongoing support to project teams by clarifying functional requirements and addressing questions

• Manage and maintain accurate documentation across various initiatives

You Profile:

• Academic degree in management, economics, IT, or a related discipline

• Eligible for an IEFP Level VI Internship

• Strong teamwork spirit and effective collaboration skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Highly organized, disciplined, and adaptable, with a proactive attitude

• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail

• Skilled in reviewing and documenting requirements, identifying gaps and inconsistencies

• Fluent in English

• Interest or background in finance or trading business is a strong advantage
