We're ambi.careers – not your average recruitment agency. We're building a talent marketplace and other AI powered recruitment tools, to connect brilliant professionals with startups and scaleups that are changing the game.
No BS here. After years in executive recruitment and building startups from scratch, we're sick of the empty promises, cookie-cutter approaches, and soul-crushing corporate speak that plagues this industry.
We're combining cutting-edge tech with real human insight to create something that actually works for our clients.
The opportunity: Simple – we want to really step up our tech products and need a Co-founder/CTO to help us define the vision and scale. Our vision is massive, and we need tech firepower to match. We also believe we could bootstrap together til very far, so we probably don't wanna go through the classic startup funding path, but generate real income asap.

Real jobs, candidates, and data flowing through the system
Early version of our market insights module
A talent marketplace and job board creator we already run for VC funds
A lean and validated roadmap for real client impact
Real users using this every week
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a CTO Co-Founder who wants to build real product, not just ideas. You’ll lead technical development and help shape the product — while keeping things simple, lean, and focused on real value.
You can freelance elsewhere in the beginning. There’s no salary at this stage — but there’s equity, ownership, and freedom.
You’re probably a fit if you:
Are hands-on with code (especially Python, APIs, AI integrations)
Have practical experience using AI (e.g. LLMs, Gemini, scraping, automations)
Know how to build lean backend-first MVPs (FastAPI, Streamlit, etc.)
Enjoy building things people use — fast, smart, and without BS
Want equity and money from a real, potential bootstrapped product
See yourself scaling this with us (even slowly at first)
Tech stack (current & expected)
Python (FastAPI or Flask)
Streamlit for UI
Google Gemini API (we’re open to changing LLM providers)
PostgreSQL or SQLite
Bubble would be nice
API's in general
Web Crawlers
Advanced scraping (LinkedIn public pages, job boards)
Render, Railway, etc.
