SATA IRD Sales and Trading Assistant Internship

Your Main Activities Are

• Ensure all Booking queries are addressed and escalated to the Marketer/Trader where appropriate
• Ensure that trades are booked correctly and completes the bookings of step-ins, unwinds and block allocations
• Ensure all trades are split as per client allocations in deal capture systems
• Ensure that MarkitWire (MW) is monitored to ensure all new trades, amendments, unwinds and novations alleged to us are picked up and affirmed within the regulatory deadlines
• Complete any requested backloading, ensuring all relevant checks are completed
• Act as an intermediary between the Marketers/Traders and all Operational areas of the Bank
• Ensure the onboarding process for new clients is correctly done
• Execute daily controls to mitigate risks
• Work in close collaboration with the onshore (London) team
  
  

Profile And Skills To Success

• Academic background in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or similar areas
• Interest in Financial Markets (with focus on Interest rates swaps, Swaptions, Inflation swap)
• Fluency in English
• A structured, methodical and organized approach to work
• Good Team spirit, ability to work alone and with others
• Proactive and capacity to deliver results with precision and rigorousness
• Good time management and organization

About The Team

The Trader and Sales Assistant team aims to accompany the continuous enhancement of the quality of service provided to our clients, notably post-trade services. Its role is to support traders and sales in their daily tasks (pre-trade to post-trade processes), in the most timely and efficient manner. The trading and Sales assistant team is the key contact for external clients but also for other BNPP functions.
