We’re hiring a CTO to lead engineering at a high-growth, early-stage crypto gaming company.
This is a senior leadership role with a small, fast-moving team in the Dragonfly portfolio. The product is live with meaningful traction—8-figure+ transaction volume and rapid user growth—and now needs a technical leader to guide the next phase of scale. You’ll own technical strategy and backend architecture, lead engineering execution, and work closely with the founders to bring focus and systems to a fast-evolving, high-volume crypto-native application.

What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of backend engineering experience, including time as a team lead, manager, or technical co-founder
- A proven track record shipping meaningful crypto products: protocols, infra, exchanges, wallets, or high-volume consumer apps
- Strong systems design skills and deep experience with distributed systems and microservice architectures
- Ability to lead in fast-moving environments where systems are scaling rapidly and priorities shift quickly
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and business teams
- We’re hiring across multiple portfolio companies, including:
- An infrastructure platform powering smart contract wallets, prime brokerage, and OTC trading - live with $15B+ in transaction volume across 12 EVM chains. You’ll lead backend architecture and scale integrations across protocols and execution systems.
- A rapidly growing crypto-native product with early volume and engagement at unusual scale. You’ll lead engineering strategy, stabilize critical systems, and help the team scale infrastructure to meet demand while building toward long-term technical maturity.
- These roles are ideal for engineers who have built through chaos, can move quickly without sacrificing quality, and enjoy taking ownership of hard technical problems from architecture to execution.
