Join our Team as a Senior Data Analyst

We are looking for our new Senior Data Analyst in the Statistics and Analytics support team. This position is the first one based in our Porto Euronext office for this team, marking an exciting opportunity to establish a local presence and contribute directly to the team's growth and success.

About the role:

With the other Data Analysts of the team, you will work on deriving custom insights from Euronext vast pool of historical market data and other data sources to support data driven decision of the business and sales teams, as well as operations and communication teams. You will work on automating the distribution of some of the reports to ease monitoring. You will contribute to the evolution of the technics and tools in place to answer the expectations for data self-service of our stakeholders. You will be a key contributor to the monthly billing calculation process and the related fee change activities. As part of the business team owning the market historical data database, you will also contribute as a data expert to the definition of the evolution requirements of this database in relation with other business teams, operation, and IT teams, and validate they proper implementation with the quality experts of the team to ensure incremental continuity of analytics capacity. Finally, you will have a local HR coordination role in Porto for future new joiners in the team there.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in close collaboration with our internal clients and other team members to deliver valuable insights from the available market data in the form of statistics, analysis, or more advanced studies.

  • Build a close relation with these internal clients and adopt a proactive posture by understanding their business challenges and proposing them data analytic services.

  • Contribute to answer external stakeholders' data requests.

  • Manage part of the billing process in collaboration with other team members and with the owning product teams.

  • Build and maintain automatic reporting systems that is controlled by the team and proactively sends data to our internal clients as well as external.

  • Build and maintain SSRS reports and PowerBI dashboards to enforce data self-service for recurring data requests and to help activity monitoring.

  • Active contribution to the continuous improvement of data analytics and reporting within the team

  • Local HR coordination of Datalab and analytics colleagues

Technically, you should know very well how to use:

  • SQL

  • Python / Pandas

  • Dataiku

  • PowerBI

We expect that you already have:

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in data analysis in direct contact with business clients to inform their business decisions

  • Experience in financial data analysis

  • Experience in building self-service data tools

  • Excellent spoken and written level of English
