Position Summary We are looking for an Industrial Director to lead KLINGER Portugal's industrial and operations activities, with direct responsibility over the Engineering, Automation, Production, Installation, Project, and After-Sales departments. Reporting directly to the General Management, we seek a strategic-minded and execution-driven professional who can ensure operational efficiency, delivery quality, and continuous innovation across the company's operations.
Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate the Engineering, Automation, Production, Installation, Project, and After-Sales teams, ensuring strategic and operational alignment;Implement continuous improvement methodologies and process optimization strategies;Drive the development and structuring of integrated, efficient, and results-oriented operations;Develop and monitor operational KPIs to ensure efficiency, productivity, and on-time delivery;Promote collaboration between technical and operational teams to ensure effective project execution;Foster digitalization, automation, and innovation within industrial processes;Manage technical and human resources, promoting the development of middle management leadership;Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards;Monitor installation and after-sales service performance, ensuring customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. Profile and Skills Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field;Proven experience in industrial or operations leadership roles within the water treatment industry (minimum 5 years);Solid knowledge of water treatment processes;Strategic thinking combined with strong execution, organizational, and results-oriented capabilities;Experience managing technical and operational teams;Familiarity with ERP systems and production control tools (e.g., MES, dashboards);Strong continuous improvement mindset;Excellent communication and leadership skills;Good command of English (minimum level B2).
