Professional Internship: 3D Mechanical & Virtualization

Job Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed 3D CAD models using Solid Edge and Fusion 360.
• Develop assembly and component models based on engineering specifications.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards.
• Use simulation software like FlexSim or Visual Components for manufacturing processes.
• Create virtual prototypes to optimize product functionality and efficiency.
• Analyze simulation results for bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare technical drawings and documentation to support models and simulations.
• Maintain organized records of design changes.
  
  

Job Profile:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (SolidEdge, Fusion 360 etc.).
• Experience with industrial process simulation software (FlexSim, Visual Components, etc.).
• Basic understanding of virtualization technologies and their application in industrial processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Work environment is presential in Lisbon Aptiv Center.
• Availability for traveling in Europe is required.
