We are looking for a skilled Azure Administrator to join our central cloud team. You'll be responsible for operating and optimizing our Azure infrastructure, supporting implementation activities, and advising internal users on best practices. Your expertise in cloud administration, Kubernetes, networking, and automation will be key to our success.
Key Responsibilities
Manage, optimize, and maintain Azure infrastructure.
Ensure performance efficiency and identify cost optimization opportunities.
Design, implement, and support containerized workloads (e.g. Kubernetes).
Implement and manage cloud and hybrid networking solutions.
Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet infrastructure needs.
Apply best practices in cloud security and compliance.
Automate infrastructure tasks using IaC tools like Terraform.
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) are highly valued.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure administration, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
Experience working in hybrid cloud or on-prem environments (nice to have).
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure management and optimization.
Experience with containerized workloads (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in networking concepts and their implementation in cloud environments.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform.
Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus.
Soft Skills
Strong sense of ownership and team spirit.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Portuguese.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide user support.
