The role - IT Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities

As an IT Compliance Specialist, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

• Monitor IT processes, practices and systems compliance with relevant legislation and other industry-specific regulations and identify compliance gaps
• Proactively propose improvements where necessary
• Maintain IT compliance policies and procedures
• Participate and assist in internal and external IT compliance audits, preparing documentation and evidences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, particularly compliance risks, and support mitigation strategies
• Support compliance training and provide guidance to employees on IT compliance matters.
  
  

Your profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, or a related field
• At least three years of experience in related roles
• Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 22301, NIST, GDPR)
• Experience with compliance tools and audit processes
• CISA or CRISC certifications are valued
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Portuguese.
