THE ROLE – Operations Strategy Associate | Ancillary & Inventory Management

As an Operations Strategy Associate focused on Ancillary & Inventory Management at Indie Campers, you will play a key supporting role in shaping and optimizing how we plan, stock, and manage the items that power our daily operations - from extras to consumables to depot operational equipment.

Working in direct support of the Operations Strategy Director, you will help drive data-informed decision-making and operational execution across the organization. You'll collaborate closely with regional operations and depot teams to ensure the right items are available, in the right quantities, at the right time - enabling excellent customer service and smooth operational performance across all countries.

This is a hands-on, data-driven role with significant learning and growth opportunities. You'll contribute to improving forecasting accuracy, reducing stockouts and surpluses, and supporting the design of scalable inventory management processes.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

  • Support Stock Forecasting Assist in building and maintaining forecasting models for extras, consumables, and kits based on historical usage, demand trends, and seasonal activity.
  • Track Inventory Performance Monitor inventory levels and stock movement across depots, flagging shortages, surpluses, and anomalies. Develop dashboards and provide regular reports to support timely replenishment and reduce waste.
  • Coordinate Replenishment Cycles Help define and maintain minimum and optimal stock levels by depot and product category. Coordinate with regional operations and depot teams to ensure timely replenishment aligned with operational needs.
  • Maintain Inventory Master Data Ensure data accuracy for all managed items, including naming conventions, stock categories, unit measures, pricing, and SKU tracking across systems and tools.
  • Assist with Standard Kit Planning Support the definition and forecasting of standard kits, ensuring consistency and availability across all locations.
  • Contribute to Process Documentation Help create SOPs and process guides related to stock management, inventory controls, and reporting to support onboarding and process consistency.
  • Collaborate Across Teams Work closely with regional operations, local depot leaders, and infleet teams to align supply and demand, supporting successful seasonal operations and expansions.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • A degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, business analytics, or operations - ideally in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with Excel/Google Sheets and inventory reporting tools; experience with forecasting methods.
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven, with strong organizational skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Team player with clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving processes - adaptability is key.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
