Junior Quality Tester (Porto)

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Noesis is looking for professionals whith the following profile:

• Creating test cases based on requirements and design documents
• Performing manual testing of software applications
• Identifying bugs/defects and reporting it on an appropriate tool
• Creating detailed bug reports with screenshots, step-by-step explanations, to reproduce the problem
• Use of test and defect management tools
• Participating in meetings when necessary
• Comply with the project standards on testing policies, criteria, strategy and procedure
• Communicate effectively with the project stakeholders
• Escalate work issues to the appropriate levels
  
  

Profile

• Degree in computer science or similar
• At least 1 year of professional experience in similar functions
• Experience and autonomy in design, planning and execution of functional testing
• Experience in test management tools, defect management tools and reporting
• Good communication, planning and organization skills
• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken
  
  

Nice-to-have

• ISTQB Foundation Certification
• Experience with Regression and Integration Testing
• SQL Knowledge
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Spanish/Castilian communication skills
• Capacity for initiative, dynamism and proactivity
