- 5+ years of professional experience with Java (Java 8+) or similar OOP languages (e.g., Golang).
- Experience with high-concurrency, high-throughput, and highly available systems.
- Hands-on with technologies such as Scala, Kafka, Akka, Memcached, Apache Storm, Cassandra, Zookeeper, RabbitMQ.
- Strong knowledge of client-server protocols (SOAP, REST).
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and code reusability best practices.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (B2 level or higher).
- Availability to work remotely from Portugal (EU citizenship or valid Portuguese work permit required).
