The role – Security Patch Specialist

Responsibilities

You will integrate a project team into IT Infrastructure department to manage Patch and Vulnerability journey for the t eam. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and implement patch management processes to ensure timely updates and security patches across all systems
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments by using our dedicated platform which assess our IT landscape
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to develop and execute remediation plans for identified vulnerabilities
• Continuously monitor systems for vulnerabilities and provide detailed reports on the status of patching and vulnerabilities
• Implement automation tools and scripts to streamline patch management and vulnerability assessment processes
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of patch management processes, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities.
  
  

Your profile

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar is preferred
• Proven experience in managing patch and vulnerability management programs
• Strong knowledge of patch management tools and vulnerability assessment methodologies
• Experience in PowerShell and scripting tools are welcome
• Adaptability to onboard on a new technology to apply a patch
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Portuguese .
