We are currently looking for a Java Developer– All Genders – Fluent in English - Lisbon or Porto

BE PART OF OUR DYNAMIC SDE TEAM

This unit works for Cardif DSI France and DSI Fonctions and was created in 2023.

The main objective is to maintain and develop solutions/aplications/Api's/… for diferent businesses areas, using best practices that respect the BNP Paribas Group technological policy.

YOUR FUTURE MISSION IN SDE TEAM

Within the IT Department of BNPP CARDIF, an insurance subsidiary of the BNP Paribas Group, you will integrate the IT Finance Tribe. This department is responsible for projects and maintaining applications in operational condition, mainly for the Finance Business Lines. Since the department is organised in Agile mode, you will be attached to a Squad where he will interact with the Scrum Master and Product Owner as well as with the other players of the squad and other squads.

Main Functions

• Monitor the resolution of production incidents, assistance and developments carried out by the development partner
• Validate the quality of the partner’s deliverables
• Manage production anomalies
• Ensure that non-production environments are maintained
• Participate in the technical design and monitoring of developments
• Be a player in preventive maintenance, in the choice of application solutions
• Monitor the phases of the squad projects
• Participate on agile ceremonies
• Provide technical support for the platform integrators and production operators
• Produce high value documentation
• Contribute to functional and technical specifications according to Cardif internal architecture guidelines
• Contribute to security and cyber-sercurity challenges
• Challenge the team and share ideas
  
  

AS OUR NEW Java Developer, YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree in technology or similar areas.
• 4+ years of experience developing JAVA/Spring Web Applications
• Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of the HTTP/HTTPS/SSL/TLS Protocols
• Experienced with continuous integration principles and tools o GIT / Maven / Jenkins / Sonar / Nexus or Artifactory
• Experienced with continuous deployment (Jenkins , Ansible)
• Autonomous, rigorous with a high personal commitment
• Fluency in English. French is a plus
• Optional skills: JAVA ,Tool Chain (JENKINS, GIT, etc…) ,SQL – PL SQL , LINUX/UNIX environnement , Kubernetes
