R&D Specialist - Proposals writting

Our Innovation & Development (R&D) team is looking for a dynamic professional to support the preparation of competitive proposals for national and international funding programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify funding opportunities for R&D projects at both national and European levels;
• Prepare and write competitive proposals for submission to funding programs (e.g., Horizon Europe, Portugal 2030, among others);
• Draft, organize, and compile application documents in line with the requirements and deadlines of funding entities;
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather the technical and economic information required for proposal development;
• Review and adapt content to ensure compliance with evaluation criteria, both technically and formally;
• Manage calendars and processes associated with proposal submissions.
  
  

Profile and Key Competencies

• Higher education (Bachelor’s degree or above), preferably in scientific, technological, economic, or related fields;
• Proven experience in similar roles, particularly in the preparation and management of proposals for R&D funding programs;
• Knowledge of national and European R&D funding programs;
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail;
• Proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and ability to work independently and in a team;
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
