Cloud & Data Center Practice Lead - Lisbon, Hybrid

Main Tasks And Responsibilities

Noesis is looking for candidates with the following profile:

• Define and lead the overall cloud and data center strategy, aligning with business goals and industry trends;
• Mentor and develop high-performing technical teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation;
• Manage resource planning, budgeting, and P&L for the practice area;
• Oversee project and program execution, ensuring successful delivery across multi-client portfolios;
• Lead pre-sales efforts including solution architecture, proposal development, and client presentations;
• Assess client environments and design tailored cloud and data center transformation strategies;
• Build and manage executive-level client relationships, navigating complex stakeholder environments;
• Support business development by identifying new opportunities and contributing to go- to- market strategies.
  
  

Requirements Experience

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture roles;
• 3 - 5+ years in a leadership position or as a practice lead;
• Proven track record of delivering cloud and data center transformation projects across industries;
• Experience working in or with consulting or professional services firms (highly preferred);
• Familiarity with managed services models is a plus.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of public, private, and hybrid cloud models eg: AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack;
• Proficient in data center infrastructure: compute, storage, networking, backup, and disaster recovery;
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools ( Terraform, Ansible ) and CI / CD pipelines;
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost management and optimization.
  
  

Business & Soft Skills

• Strong pre-sales capabilities and experience with RFP / RFI responses;
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal;
• Strong analytical and problem - solving abilities;
• Ability to lead cross-functional delivery teams;
• Collaborative, adaptable, and entrepreneurial mindset;
