Join us as a Finance Controller Trainee

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join our Central FP&A team based in Porto. The primary focus of this role is to support reporting automation initiatives, assist in the consolidation of monthly group reports, and contribute to the annual budgeting process.

The ideal candidate is data-driven, curious, and eager to dive deep into financial figures and processes, while maintaining a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.

Key Accountabilities

* Contribute to reporting automation and process improvement projects.

* Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial update for the CFO, in close collaboration with the Finance team

* Contribute to the preparation of the quarterly financial update for Euronext Supervisory Board

* Responsible for group-wide processes, including the monthly execution of the purchase order closing process.

* Support the yearly budget process.

* Document financial processes and workflows.

* Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as required.

Your Profile

* Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or related field from top-tier university.
* Strong analytical thinking and data interpretation skills.

* High attention to detail and a passion for exploring and understanding data and financial processes.

* Well organized and capable of working effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines
* Fluent in English (written and verbal communication).

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.

* Data savvy.

* Nice to have:

- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.

- Experience with Hyperion Planning and dimensional cube (Essbase Excel Add-in).

- Knowledge of BI tools, such as, Power BI, Board or similar platforms.
