Data Engineer (m/f/d)

You will work in a talented team of data engineers, data scientists & a product owner, delivering data products and models that empower marketing teams to take optimal budget steering decisions.

About The Role

• Use Python, SQL, and Airflow to design and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines that deliver timely, actionable insights to marketing stakeholders.
• Apply analytical thinking to understand complex data requirements and translate them into efficient data pipelines.
• Ensure data quality through validation, monitoring, and clear documentation.
• Proactively debug and refactor data pipelines to enhance performance, accuracy, and maintainability, based on a solid understanding of the underlying business logic.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices within the team.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner and cross-functional teams to understand marketing stakeholders' data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Assist with ad hoc requests and help resolve data-related issues by applying both technical and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of data infrastructure by optimizing pipeline performance, enhancing data models, and integrating scalable, future-proof solutions.
  
  

About You

• You’ve had hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Git.
• You hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Candidates from Business or Marketing backgrounds with strong technical experience are also welcome.
• You think critically, ask insightful questions, and enjoy turning complex business requirements into clean, effective code.
• You are experienced with relational databases and excel at writing complex SQL queries.
• You thrive in team settings, communicate well, and are fluent in English.
• Bonus: Experience with Airflow, AWS, terraform, CI/CD tools; having worked in Marketing Domain.
