We're working with a leading UK-based enterprise (confidential client) undergoing a major strategic rollout of a next-generation Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform. As part of this transformation, they are seeking a Senior IAM Engineer with deep hands-on experience in Okta/Auth0 (or similar CIAM platforms) to lead the design and implementation of customer identity solutions.
This is more than just an engineering role - it's a chance to be a key player in redefining how identity is managed across a large-scale, customer-facing environment. You'll be instrumental in delivering secure, scalable, and user-friendly CIAM solutions that underpin the digital trust of millions.
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of CIAM solutions using Okta/Auth0.
- Build secure, scalable identity journeys for external users across digital platforms.
- Develop custom authentication flows, access policies, and user provisioning strategies.
- Collaborate with security and engineering teams to align IAM with enterprise security goals.
- Integrate IAM with APIs, cloud-native platforms, and customer-facing applications.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, simplification, and innovation.
- Support governance activities including access reviews and audit remediation.
- Proven experience with Okta/Auth0 or similar CIAM platforms.
- Strong knowledge of identity standards: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM.
- Expertise in RBAC, MFA, and identity lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure AD, and Active Directory.
- Experience integrating IAM with APIs and third-party platforms.
- A passion for secure, user-centric identity design and a proactive mindset.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Agile delivery, and technical documentation.
- A strong understanding of identity governance and privileged access management.
