YOUR ROLE
Capgemini Engineering is looking for Packet Core Engineer to integrate a cloud transformation team, to migrate legacy EPC infrastructure to cloud based:
- Hands-on experience with packet core network components (e.g., SGSN, GGSN, MME, PGW).
- Strong understanding of mobile network standards (e.g., 4G/5G, LTE, VoLTE).
- Experience with Packet Core network testing and troubleshooting tools.
- Proficient in analyzing Packet Core call flows and signaling protocols.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Integrate and configure packet core network components, ensuring interoperability and compliance with network standards.
- Analyze and document call flows across various nodes and interfaces in the packet core network.
- Troubleshoot call flow issues to ensure seamless service delivery and customer experience.
- Execute comprehensive acceptance test plans for new network elements and services.
- Telecommunications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent background.
- Min 3 years of relevant work experience in IP Domain.
- Good knowledge in IP Networking Protocols like OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, LDP, L2VPN, L3VPN, BFD.
- Understanding of Switching VLAN, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, HSRP.
- Product/Vendor knowledge/Certification on Ericsson / Nokia / Cisco / Juniper/ Huawei / F5 (at least any two).
- Good Communication Skills and proactive.
