YOUR ROLE

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Packet Core Solution Architect to integrate a cloud transformation team, in order to migrate legacy EPC infrastructure to cloud based:

• Support to Customer projects on Architecture and engineering activities for Advanced Mobile solutions on the domain of Packet Core ePC, mainly focused in 2G/3G/LTE and 5G Stand Alone architecture.
• Support to the definition of the integration and commissioning methodologies and global cloud packet core architecture, covering integration and acceptance test.
• Support customer interaction and customer specific network requirements and configuration, delivering associated design customizations.
• Support customer implementation in the domain of architecture, call flows and design troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of all or part of the set of protocols for IP/MPLS; IGP, BGP, RSVP, LDP, and others and Mobile networks related interfaces and protocols 2G-3G-4G-5G are highly recommended.
• Virtualization skills are also important in the current network transformation; Kubernetes, Openstack, Linux, KVM, Hypervisors, Vmware, VNF configuration and management (scale-IN/OUT, healing).
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Telecommunications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent background.
• Min 3 years of relevant work experience in IP Domain
• Good knowledge in IP Networking Protocols like OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, LDP, L2VPN, L3VPN, BFD.
• Understanding of Switching VLAN, STP, RSTP, MSTP, VRRP, HSRP.
• Product/Vendor knowledge/Certification on Ericsson / Nokia / Cisco / Juniper/ Huawei / F5 (at least any two).
• Good Communication Skills and proactive.
