About The Job

• The trainee would equally share his\her time across 2 teams: Execution Middle Office and Execution Desk
• The main mission of the Execution Middle Office (EMO) is to capture and validate market deals from our Execution Desk. Additionally, the products held in our portfolio have to be priced on a daily basis to assure an accurate client portfolio valuation. Post-trading reporting is also part of the scope of EMO, the idea is to report to the regulators all transactions performed on the previous day
• Other tasks, also related with the products kept in our portfolio are performed regularly, such as database maintenance and enrichment, costs & charges, target market and others
• The team services clients from different BNP Paribas WM entities (Switzerland, Luxembourg, Monaco and Germany)
• The mission of the Execution Desk team is to provide high quality service on execution of client orders on equities, bonds, ETF, listed derivatives (and vanilla equity OTC derivatives for a limited number of clients) for BNP Paribas Wealth Management International Markets clients; and to ensure monitoring of transactions’ processing and related risks involved in execution activities
  
  

Your Main Activities Are

• Assist the EMO team with the preparation and improvement of internal reports
• Enrich the EMO database with financial information related to Structured Products, sourced in Bloomberg/Reuters
• Contribute to the activities’ continuous improvement
• Analyse and implement controls under MiFID II framework
• Assist the ED team in improving and streamlining process
• Assist the ED team in ensuring transaction control
• Contribute to the drafting of market comments prior to market opening
• Act as a liaison officer between the two departments to find and implement synergies
  
  

Profile And Skills To Success

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
• Knowledge of financial instruments and investment services
• Knowledge in Microsoft office tools, in particular Excel, Power Point and Access
• VBA, SQL or Python coding capabilities
• Fluency in English
• Communication skills
• Organisational skills and attention to details ability
• Analysis capacity, rigor and accuracy, dynamism, flexibility and autonomy
