Who You’ll Work With

You’ll be part of the Customer Practice, Bain’s team focused on driving strategy and transformation across marketing, customer experience, and commercial excellence. This group is responsible for shaping Bain’s intellectual property and go-to-market strategy within these domains.

WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

In this role, you’ll be a key commercial thought partner within the Customer Practice, helping to define how we package and position our capabilities, win major client opportunities, and bring our solutions to market in compelling, effective ways.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute full potential plans to drive commercial momentum across industries and solutions
  • Support Partners in building high-impact proposals and lead end-to-end bid management activities
  • Build high-quality discussion materials and client-facing presentations for priority opportunities
  • Serve as a strategic connector between product teams and client teams to drive best-fit solutions
  • Partner with Marketing to shape a scalable, compelling lead generation engine
  • Help guide innovation roadmaps by delivering structured feedback from the field to solution owners
  • Act as a “chief of staff” for the commercial team, helping to coordinate global activities and align strategy

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years in commercial operations, go-to-market strategy, business development, or capture/bid management
  • Strong understanding of professional services, ideally in management or technology consulting
  • Strategic thinker with sharp commercial instincts and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Confident working with CRM and revenue tech stacks
  • Empathetic, adaptable team player with strong communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience owning an end-to-end revenue funnel—from lead generation through proposal
  • Familiarity with Energy, Fintech, Health & Life Sciences, or Software sectors
  • Working knowledge of Bain’s competitive landscape
