Job Description
As Product Quality Lead for FBB (footwear, bags and belts), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that ARKET’s high standards are consistently met, collaborating with teams across the business to drive quality initiatives, support supplier development, and enhance compliance. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the quality strategy, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure a seamless production process that reflects ARKET’s high quality standards.

As Product Quality Lead for FBB (footwear, bags and belts), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that ARKET’s high standards are consistently met, collaborating with teams across the business to drive quality initiatives, support supplier development, and enhance compliance. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the quality strategy, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure a seamless production process that reflects ARKET’s high quality standards.
What you will do:
- Overall ownership to secure best fitting and quality for ARKET footwear, bags and belts products
- Lead quality assurance efforts in the region, working closely with Business Teams.
- Manage supplier performance and development, conducting inspections and overseeing compliance.
- Train and educate suppliers to maintain consistent quality across ARKET products.
- Onboard new suppliers and explore market expansion opportunities, such as Morocco.
- Develop action plans for rejected inspections, customer complaints, and compliance issues.
- Prepare internal reports on supplier quality KPIs and implement strategic actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality projects and commercial decisions.
- Maintain alignment with colleagues in other regions to ensure global consistency.

What you need to succeed
- Educational background: Bachelor's degree in textile engineering or Level 3-4 qualification in footwear and leather production.
- Experience in quality assurance, compliance, problem-solving, and project management.
- Technical expertise in textiles, footwear, or leather production, with leadership skills.
- Data analysis & risk assessment capabilities, including market research and management.
- Effective communication: Clear, inspiring, and inclusive in influencing and engaging others and able to collaborate effectively remotely.
- Proactive problem-solver with a keen ability to anticipate challenges, take initiative, and drive quality improvements.
- Quick adaptability & learning: Comfortable using PLM/KPI – Power BI systems in a dynamic environment.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
