Backend Developer (Mobile)

You'll be focused in

• Creating innovative prototypes and develop them into marketable solutions
• Automating testing of the code you write
• Developing cloud and microservice business solutions on different platforms that combine user needs with business requirements and ensure technical feasibility
• Working in small increments, with very short feedback loops, iterating often
• Understanding software design on a micro and macro level
• Being aware of SOLID principles and follow Clean Code principles
• Understanding principles around security, logging, and monitoring running products
• Developing and maintain backend services for mobile applications, ensuring seamless integration with front-end components
• Utilizing Kotlin Multiplatform to develop shared logic between iOS and Android applications
• Contributing to tech and architecture decisions, particularly in the context of mobile backend solutions
• Collaborating with your team and other teams on all questions around backend and tool development in a mobile environment
  
  
  

In order to succeed, you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or comparable work experience
• Proven experience working as a Backend Developer or related role
• Strong experience in Spring Boot, Kotlin and event-driven architecture with Kafka
• Experience with OpenAPI for REST and Asynchronous API for notifications
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito or similar
• Strong knowledge of lifecycle management tools such as GitLab or similar
• Experience with mobile backend services and integrations
• Proficiency in Kotlin Multiplatform and developing shared logic for mobile applications
• Experience designing/building/maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of security concepts and implementation
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Great English skills, both written and spoken
