DevSecOps Platform Engineer (SonarQube / Vault) – Senior/LeadLocation: Remote (APAC hours: 00:00–09:00 CET)Duration: 1 year extendable contractEngagement: Leading IT Services Provider | Global Pharmaceutical ClientJoin a premier IT services firm supporting a top-tier pharmaceutical company.
As a Senior/Lead DevSecOps Platform Engineer, you'll build and operate secure, on-premises OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms with a focus on SonarQube and HashiCorp Vault.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement infrastructure solutions, ensuring alignment with application requirements and cybersecurity best practices, with a focus on on-premises infrastructures.Design and deploy on-premises infrastructure and container platforms (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes Operators).Develop and maintain IaC (Terraform/Terragrunt, Ansible) for OpenShift/Kubernetes environments.Implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) integrated with Artifactory, JFrog Xray, Nexus.Administer, configure, and automate SonarQube and Vault across multiple environments.Integrate SecOps practices into pipelines using code-analysis and security scanning tools (SonarQube, SAST).Build observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Alertmanager) for proactive monitoring.Respond to infrastructure and deployment incidents; ensure high availability.Produce GxP-compliant documentation: installation guides, BSDS specs, process maps.Stay current on DevSecOps trends, contributing to tool and process improvements.Requirements5+ years' DevSecOps or platform engineering experience in on-premises environments.Hands-on with Linux, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes Operators.Proven IaC expertise with Terraform/Terragrunt and Ansible.Deep experience administering SonarQube and HashiCorp Vault (pipelines, security controls).Strong CI/CD background (Jenkins/CloudBees, Azure DevOps) for containerised apps.Familiarity with Harbor, Argo CD, ACS, ACM, and HashiCorp Consul, Nomad, Packer.Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash) and Agile/Scrum exposure.Experience in GxP-regulated or similarly compliant environments.Fluent English communication skills.Nice to HaveCertifications: CKA, CKS, Red Hat OpenShift Specialist, ITIL v4.Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, CIS controls.Familiarity with AI/ML applications in DevSecOps and JavaScript frameworks.This role will have weekend work 1 in every 3 weekends, paid at the standard rate.
